Ojani Noa

Ojani Noa

Current entrepreneur, model, producer, and writer was born on June 11, 1974 in Havana, Cuba.

At an early age, Ojani was very passionate about sports and entertainment. He started self-boxing on the streets of Cuba, which soon led him to becoming a part of his schools karate team. He also had a passion for swimming and went on to win several awards, being named one of the best swimmers in the nation. Ojani also took part in the water polo national juvenile team and earned national awards.

When Ojani was just 15, he decided to escape the economic hardship and repressive policies of the Cuban government and fled to the United States on a raft. After spending a dangerous day sailing the Atlantic Ocean, he and his friends were rescued and brought to the states. Ojani did not waste any time and began working and going to school right away. He worked at the famous Cuban restaurant, Larios on the Beach, which is owned by the Larios family as well as Emilio and Gloria Estefan.

Ojani Noa quickly found his calling for acting and modeling and joined the Irene Marine model agency. Upon signing, he was hired to spear of the prestige magazine, Maria Claire, as one of the main models for a photoshoot campaign. He later appeared on several popular shows for Spanish networks, Univision and Telemundo. Ojani participated in shows such as, El Hombre de “A Buena Hora,” “Cliente,” and “Alcanzar a una Estrella.” He also was a host and runway model for several designers.

Ojani went on to Los Angeles, California to become one of the main partners, creator, and designers helping the launch of a new restaurant, Conga Room in LA. In the last year, Ojani has helped open over five restaurants ranging from American, to Cuban, and even German cuisine.
