Jia Jie was born in Tianjin, China where she graduated from Tianjin University, with a bachelor's degree in business management. In 1993 she arrived in the United States and enrolled in Florida Atlantic University where she was awarded a Master's degree in computer engineering.
In China she worked at a real estate company, Vanke, as the director of sales and marketing. Vanke is the largest real estate developer in China. In the U.S. she worked at Office Depot worldwide headquarter. Her positions were E-commerce category manager, global sourcing manger. Before starting her own business TopInfo- technology Co., Ltd in China, she was the Senior director of global sourcing and the country manger in China for EverGreen enterprises Inc. She was also in charge of the sourcing department of Plow & Hearth, Wind & Weather, which are subsidiaries of Evergreen Enterprises Inc. In 2008 she created Top Information Technology Co., Ltd. Hefei, China .
Among her awards she was recognized as "Outstanding Young Business Woman" by the Tianjin Government. In addition, she was a candidate for "Top Thousand Talented Business Leaders" selected by China central government. And she received first “Top hundred talented business leaders" selected by the government of Anhui province.
